GastroNorth Ltd are pleased to have partnered with BAM construction on another large scale project. The £103,000 front and back of house project was fitted into New College Doncaster, in South Yorkshire. The £20 million campus is currently in it’s second phase of construction and is already catering for 400 students, and will eventually cater 1,200 students upon completion.
Our extensive experience in the education sector has helped us to ensure a smooth installation process and an efficient design to provide for large amounts of people in a fast paced and hectic environment. The CED Servery Counters offer a sleek and organised layout to aid in providing order to chaotic peak serving times.
The kitchen features two Unox combination ovens, Frima vario cooking centre, a Falcon induction range and a Hobart dishwasher. The area also features a Williams cold room alongside refrigerated counters and under counters to keep food fresh and to the highest standard when served.
Project manager, Stephen Clark noted “There was great coordination for the services in the kitchen and servery and we had on-site discussions with all trades involved. This meant that we were able to resolve all issues prior to installation. It was a really good site to work on, everybody was working towards the same goal and it really made a difference.
“The equipment fit like a dream due to all this hard work prior to installation and greatly reduced the time we had to spend on site. I’m very happy with the whole project.”
