GastroNorth have recently partnered The Toronto Lodge, a casual dining restaurant in Bishop Auckland that serves up diner food in a cosy and relaxed environment. The extensive menu brings a fresh and vibrant mix of burgers, soul foods and grilled BBQ meats to the table with a quirky and modern edge.
GastroNorth Ltd were tasked with the design, supply and installation of the catering facilities at the Toronto Lodge. By bringing together a design that incorporates market leading brands such as Mareno prime cooking equipment, Unox combination ovens, Hobart warewashing, Foster refrigeration and CED Fabrication, we were able to deliver a quality, compact kitchen.

The kitchen has longevity and also operates efficiently as possible under the structural issues we have had to work around. There is limited space in the galley style kitchen and we had to utilise as much of the floorpan as possible, we have implemented a shop-fitted ‘potting shed’ style sash window, so the wash up area is tucked away, out of site, not interfering with the restaurants aesthetics.”
