The team at GastroNorth have recently received a stunning letter of recommendation from our clients at Sunderland College after designing, supplying and installing the new training facilities at the City Campus. The letter below was gratefully received and is testament to the hard work and dedication that every single member of our team give on every project were involved in.

GastroNorth were originally tasked by the college to design our City Campus teaching and commercial kitchens. From the outset, they involved us in every step with regular meetings to look at all of our needs and then how best to package these. Once they were awarded the contract to install, the service remained excellent. They listened to our thoughts and were very accommodating to all of our minor tweaks and alternations, right up to the point of signing off the plans and beyond.
We now boast, what I think, are the finest commercial and training kitchens in the North East, if not the North. Our learners are able to access a huge range of equipment likely to be found right the way through the industry. We are running a fully commercial kitchen that allows them the real world experience that will set them apart from other graduates. There is no comparison to anything else out there; our set-up speaks for itself. We have always had excellent teaching, now we have outstanding facilities to do it in.
GastroNorth have been and remain at the heart of our kitchens. If it wasn’t for them, I truly believe we would have had something that we did not want or that was enforced upon us. They took our basic ideas and made them a reality and that will have an impact on students into the future who are lucky enough to access us for their further education.
