GastroNorth are extremely happy to announce the promotion of Ross Pears and Simon Neill to their new positions of Sales & Design Engineers as of September 1st. Ross and Simon have expanded their responsibilities as Design Engineers and will now spend more time out in the field working closely with the GastroNorth team of Project Managers and clients to expand on their knowledge of the complete project process.
Richard Toye, Director at GastroNorth said, “We have great talent and passion in both Ross and Simon and we’re delighted to promote them into their new roles. The lads have shown dedication and a great understanding of the foodservice equipment market and it’s important we reward that. Tim Whitfield (fellow Director) and I we’re given the same opportunities 25-30 years ago when we started in the industry and we would love our team to take a similar journey to what we have. We want to see our team grow in knowledge and size and what better way to do this than nurturing the talent within our organisation.”
The Design Office has become a much busier place in recent months and due to the increased work load for the team, GastroNorth have invested in the services of two new Designer Engineers who became part of the team this week. Michael Workman and Liam Simpson will bring additional support to the existing staff and by using their existing drawing skills and experience in the M&E sector, they will bring much welcomed expertise to the office.
Tim Whitfield, Director at GastroNorth added, “As our business grows, naturally the number of projects we are working on increases so it’s really important that we have a back of house support network capable of handling our workload. By investing in new team members we are investing in customer service and the future of our company. Michael and Liam have already shown great potential and we’re really happy to welcome them to the team, It’s a really exciting time for everyone at the company.”
