GastroNorth Ltd have recently completed the fit out and design of one of the North East’s best dining facilities the Potted Lobster.

Based in Bamburgh, Northumberland the Potted Lobster, as the name suggests is a fine dining seafood restaurant serving up seasonal and speciality meat dishes designed by owner and North East Chef of the year 2013 Richard Sim.

The kitchen consists of a complete Blue Seal cook line, roller grill salamanders, RS Vent canopy system, Unox combination oven and a Williams cold room. The design was product of GastroNorth Sales Manager Bob Vardy who worked alongside Richard Sim from planning stage, he commented. “Space was a real issue when planning the equipment layout as the building shape and kitchen footprint gave us a few challenges. Working with Richard we interpreted his menu and covers into a functional design to give the brigade of Chefs a comfortable working environment”.

Richard added, “Bob and the team made the process of planning the restaurant trouble free from the kitchen point of view. We were confident we could leave the team to it and the project and installation would be completed to a high standard, GastroNorth were recommend to me and i have no issue with recommending them to other restauranteurs”.
